Route Notes

You've planning a trip to the Lake District and Cumbria; you know you want to see as much as possible but you aren't sure where to start.  Perhaps you are more of an independent traveller and don't particularly enjoy being guided by someone else...  Or you are a family with lots of different needs to cater for.

If you want ideas of places to go, things to see and a great route that will encompass all of these, then Route Notes is what you need.  Whilst I'm a real fan of using public transport, I accept that some people just really like to use their own car to get around. And, if you're based in the Eden Valley then it is probably the most time-efficient way to travel.

Route Notes include a detailed journey plan for a day out including visits to places of interest.  Background information on the places you will pass and notes on what you will see are included.  There will be information on where to eat, where the nearest toilets are and where the nearest cashpoint and petrol station is (they can be fairly irregular in the countryside!)

They are based from wherever your accommodation is and take account of the personal interests and ages of your group.

Route Notes can be emailed directly to you; prices vary - please get in touch to discuss.

And dances with the daffodils
