A little bit about me... 

Hello - I'm Jill and I'd love to share the best of Cumbria and the Lake District with you.  If you come on a Wandering Cloud guided walk or tour you will experience the best customer care coupled with extensive knowledge of the area.  Wandering Cloud is about travelling with all your senses wide open - it's not about getting from one place to another as quickly as possible and cramming as much as you can into a day.  It's wandering - not route-marching.

As a Blue Badge Guide I am qualified and insured to lead you on walks and tours throughout this wonderful county.  For some of the tours I use other Blue Badge Guides - but they are personally chosen and will give you a great day out.  I hope that my tours are special, interesting and enjoyable.  My aim is to ensure that all of your group has the best day possible and leaves feeling enthused, revived and happy.

Awarded by the Institute of Tourist Guiding, the Blue Badge is the pinnacle of guiding expertise.  Using a Registered Blue Badge Guide ensures that you are travelling with someone who has undertaken extensive and rigorous training and passed 7 exams in order to ensure that you receive the best quality guiding experience.  I am a member of Cumbria Tourist Guides, the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides and the Institute of Tourist Guiding.  Between them they provide insurance, registration and credibility.  I am also one of the first Guides in the country to be awarded the Eco-tourism accreditation.
